This Paraprofessional role offers a dynamic opportunity to work closely with students, either individually or in small groups, reinforcing lessons, aiding with assignments, and contributing to the children's growth and development

Responsibilities:
\n - Assisting the classroom teacher
\n - Work with individual and (or) small groups of students to reinforce instructed material
\n - Assist in compiling classroom communications
\n - Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and a safe learning environment
\n - Utilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student learning experiences and support them as needed
\n - Support with personal care or hygiene as needed, including toileting

Required Qualifications:
\n -High School Diploma or equivalent
\n -Experience working with children with Special Educational needs
\n -Experience working with personal care
\n -US Work Authorization. Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.
\n -Applicants must have professional proficiency in English

\n Physical Requirements:
\n - Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the day
\n - Able to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed (kneeling, bending, quick response)
\n - Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application process

Preferred Qualifications:
\n - Past work experience in a school
\n - CPI Training

Salary
\n Pay: $22 - $25 per hour, paid weekly.
\n Schedule: Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).
