VP Employee Relations & People Operations

Kforce has a client that is seeking a VP Employee Relations & People Operations. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Saint Louis, MO with in-office days Tuesday through Thursday. Summary: This is an excellent opportunity with a top company in the Saint Louis area for a strategic VP HR executive to serve as a key partner to the CHRO and lead enterprise-wide employee relations, people operations, workforce analytics, and transformation initiatives for a large, growth-oriented organization. This leader will manage complex cross-functional projects, turn workforce data into actionable insights, support executive-level decision-making, and build scalable HR frameworks that drive alignment, accountability, and operational excellence. Responsibilities: Lead enterprise-wide HR projects from strategy through execution, ensuring timeline discipline, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes Translate workforce analytics, compliance data, and employee relations trends into executive-ready insights and recommendations Drive organizational transformation initiatives across HR, Legal, IT, Finance, and business units, including restructures, capability building, and technology adoption Serve as a strategic thought partner to the CHRO, preparing leadership materials, tracking key priorities, and helping remove barriers across the organization Requirements: Ideal candidates will bring 10+ years of HR, consulting, project management, strategy, or related experience, including 5+ years of people leadership Must have manufacturing industry experience Strong employment law knowledge Exceptional executive communication skills Proven ability to lead through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
