Life Skills Coach - Residential Based

Life Skills Coaches are residential based and assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to reach daily, weekly, and monthly living goals.

This looks like cooking a meal for their housemates, completing their own laundry, choosing and completing an art project, etc.

\n

\n

If you are kind, enjoy the company of others, and watching individuals achieve goals they set and even help them overcome obstacles, this might be the right fit for you. Must be able to transport in your own vehicle as needed.

\n

\n

Current opening: 1. Monday - Friday 7:00am-9:00am

\n

2. Wednesday - Friday 3:00pm - 11:00pm and Saturday 9:00am - 9:00pm

\n

3. Saturday and Sunday 7:00am-3:00pm / Monday, Tuesday and Friday 4:00pm - 8:00pm

\n

4. Sunday 9:00pm - 9:00am and Monday - Wednesday 11:00pm - 9:00am

\n

5. Wednesday - Friday 11:00pm-9:00am and Saturday 9:00pm - 9:00am

\n

Pay Rate: $16.00/Hour

\n

Life Skills Coach Duties:

\n

\n
• Complete written and verbal reports
\n
• Provide transportation to and from programs
\n
• Provide emotional support
\n
• Attend trainings as scheduled
\n
• Assist with bathroom and personal care
\n
• Assist with life skills like cleaning
\n
• Assist with cooking
\n
• Assist with individual's finances
\n
• Assist with medication delivery
\n
• Report medical concerns to nursing/supervisor
\n
• Other duties as assigned
\n

Requirements: \n

Life Skills Coach Position Requirements

\n

Be at least 19 years old

\n

\n
• Minimum - High school diploma or equivalent
\n
• Current and Valid Driver's License
\n
• Safe, insured/ registered vehicle
\n
• Cleared background check
\n
• Pass a drug test
\n
