ResponsibilitiesThe staff nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the organization's established policies and procedures, showcasing professional development and accountability. The staff nurse also plays a key role in upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure high-quality nursing care.
QualificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
New graduates from nursing programs are welcome to apply.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or possess an NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification is mandatory.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
For PRN roles: A year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
The position involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment, requiring adaptability and collaboration with a diverse team.
