Water Hygiene EngineerMobile across the M4 Corridor Salary £38-42k based on 40 hoursOvertime availableAre you a water hygiene engineer looking for a new mobile role with a growing company. This company support various commercial facilities across the south of England and are recruiting for a new mobile technician to cover sites from Swindon to London, although you wont go into London much as the London based engineers generally cover the city. Most of your working days will be Swindon, Reading, Oxford, Newbury, Basingstoke and Slough.Water Hygiene Technician - VacancyWe are currently looking to recruit an experienced Water Hygiene Technician to join our growing team.This is a hands-on role working across a variety of commercial and industrial sites, delivering high-quality water hygiene and treatment services.Location: Ideally based in or around Swindon, Reading, or SloughRole ResponsibilitiesRoutine water hygiene tasks in line with ACoP L8and HSG274Cold water storage tank inspections, cleaning & disinfectionTank and system disinfections(including chlorination works)Temperature monitoring, sampling & reportingTMV servicing and general system checksClosed system cleans, dosing and analysisServicing and maintenance of water softeners and reverse osmosis (RO) systemsMaintaining accurate records using job management systemsKey Experience (Preferred)Strong background in water hygieneExperience with water softeners and RO systems (installation, servicing, fault finding)Experience with tank disinfections and closed system worksBasic understanding of pumps/booster sets (advantage but not essential)About the Role & Development OpportunitiesWe don't just carry out our own works —We also provide specialist support to other water hygiene companies, assisting with more complex technical and mechanical challenges.Because of this, you will:Gain exposure to a wide range of technical problem-solving scenariosBe involved in mechanical projects and system upgradesHave the opportunity to develop your knowledge beyond standard water hygiene tasksBuild skills in areas many engineers don't typically get exposure toThis role is ideal for someone looking to improve their technical ability and broaden their skillset within the industry.RequirementsPrevious experience in water hygiene (minimum 1 year preferred)Full UK driving licenceGood understanding of compliance and safe systems of workWillingness to travel nationally and occasionally stay awayStrong communication and reporting skillsWhat We OfferCompetitive salary (dependent on experience)Company vehicleOngoing training and development, particularly in water treatment systems (softeners & RO)Exposure to technical and mechanical worksOpportunity to progress within a growing businessVaried workload across multiple sectorsFor further information on the role and the company please APPLY NOW or get in touch with Gary Cornes for a confidential chatINDHIGHTPBN1_UKTJ
