Then we may have the role for you!Were looking for a creative, enthusiastic and caring Activities & Wellbeing Co-ordinator (Customer Experience Lead) to join our team at The Rowans an Outstanding-rated CQC care home where were passionate about creating exceptional experiences for the people who live with us.Responsibilities and DutiesPlanning meaningful activities, entertainment, celebrations and events.Creating experiences around residents interests, hobbies and life stories.Organising outings, gardening and community activities.Building relationships with local schools, community groups and organisations.Working with families to create a strong sense of belonging.Bringing our Ohana ethos to life making everyone feel valued and included all day, every day.Skills, Qualifications and AbilitiesPassionate & Caring: You have a genuine desire to make a difference in peoples lives.Creative & Enthusiastic: You bring fresh ideas to the table and have the energy to see them through.Community-Oriented: You value connections with the wider community and can engage others in meaningful ways.Dedication & Commitment: Youre someone whos in it for the long haul, ready to become an integral part of our extended family.Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.The Care Home and CompanyThe Rowans opened in October 2023; a 66-bed nursing and dementia specialist care home in the heart of Wigan, combines modern comfort with classic charm, offering a welcoming home for people who need care & support.
