Plumbing Engineer £35,000 £38,000 + Call Out + Company VehicleFull Time | 40 Hours | Monday to FridayOrion Building Engineering Services is looking for an experienced and fully qualified Plumbing Engineer to join our growing engineering team.With more than 20 years' experience, Orion has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality building engineering and maintenance services across a wide range of customer sites. We pride ourselves on our values of Honesty, Professionalism and Quality , and on providing a supportive environment where experienced engineers can take real ownership of their work.The role This is a varied plumbing maintenance role working across a range of client sites.You will be responsible for carrying out day-to-day plumbing maintenance, repairs and minor installation works, as well as supporting wider building maintenance tasks where required.Day to day, you will:Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairsRepair and replace taps, showers, TMVs, ball valves, gate valves and stopcocksMaintain heating and hot water systemsCheck and replace 2-port and 3-port valves, mixing valves, pumps, TRVs and radiatorsMaintain and replace shower valvesInstall and replace hot and cold-water pipeworkRepair leaks and carry out system drain-downs and refillsWork on cold-water storage tanks and hot-water cylindersComplete routine and reactive maintenanceMake recommendations where further works are requiredWork closely with other engineers and the wider teamWhat we're looking forYou must be a qualified plumber with good practical knowledge and a strong maintenance background.Essential requirements:NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating, or equivalent recognised plumbing qualificationPrevious experience working as a Plumbing Engineer or Maintenance PlumberAt least 2 years' relevant practical experienceGood fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience working on heating and hot-water systemsGood IT skills and confidence using PDA/compliance reporting systemsA positive and professional approachAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadFull UK driving licenceThe following would be an advantage but are not essential:G3 Unvented Hot Water qualificationWater hygiene plumbing experienceWhat we offer£35,000 £38,000 basic salary depending on experienceRegular overtime opportunitiesOut-of-hours call-out rota40-hour working week, Monday to Friday24 days' holiday plus bank holidaysAdditional holiday following length of serviceCompany uniformCompany phone and tabletFully serviced company vehicle from our modern fleetFuel cardOption for private use of the company vehicleCompany pensionEmployee Assistance Programme, including mental health support and counselling for employees and their familiesOngoing training and developmentIf you're a qualified and experienced plumber looking for a varied maintenance role with good support, regular work and the opportunity to develop further, we'd like to hear from you.Orion Building Engineering Services is committed to equal opportunities and welcomes applications from everyone who meets the requirements of the role.TPBN1_UKTJ
