  • This role is primarily Java-centric - you will design and build cloud microservices on the platform - with the expectation that you actively apply AI tooling and patterns to accelerate delivery, improve code quality, and contribute to our emerging AI-driven product features.
  • \n
  • Develop, test, and implement software solutions to meet business needs.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable applications.
  • \n
  • Maintain and optimise existing systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • \n
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • \n
  • Ensure code quality through regular reviews and adherence to best practices.
  • \n
  • Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimise downtime.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of technology projects.
  • \n
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them where applicable.
  • \n

Profile

Must haves:

  • Java

  • Spring / Spring Boot
  • \n
  • AI Coding tools (Claude, Cursor etc)
  • \n
  • AWS or Azure
  • \n
  • Comfortable reading Python code or notebooks (most AI libraries are Python-first); ability to translate patterns into Java implementations.
