Fieldwork forms an important part of the position, with site visits primarily across the Midlands with some further afield across the UK.You will support and manage a variety of geo-environmental and mining-related projects, working across both office-based and site-based activities. The role offers exposure to every stage of a project, from initial desk studies through to site investigations, interpretation, reporting and verification works.Typical responsibilities will include:

- Undertaking and contributing to Phase 1 Desk Studies and geo-environmental assessments. \n
- Carrying out site investigations and supervising ground investigation works. \n
- Groundwater and environmental monitoring. \n
- Scheduling and coordinating laboratory testing. \n
- Preparing technical reports, risk assessments and factual documentation. \n
- Supporting coal mining risk assessments and land quality projects. \n
- Assisting with remediation, verification and validation works. \n
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors and internal project teams. \n
What you'll need to succeed
\n- \n
- Degree qualified in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Earth Sciences or a related discipline. \n
- Proven experience within a geo-environmental, geotechnical or ground investigation consultancy environment in the UK \n
- Experience supporting projects from site work through to reporting. \n
- Understanding of ground investigations, contaminated land or environmental assessment. \n
- Excellent report writing and communication skills. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
