This is a hands-on operational role where youll support the safe and efficient production of asphalt while helping to keep the site running smoothly day to day.Youll work across a rotating shift pattern of Monday to Friday 05:3015:00 and 20:0002:00 , with some weekend working as well. The role includes a rotating week of days and nights, although night shifts can be more sporadic depending on operational requirements. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, practical work and learning new skills within a busy plant environment.Experience working on a weighbridge would be highly beneficial, and full training can be provided across other areas of the operation including loading shovel duties and asphalt mixing processes.What You'll be DoingSupporting the safe and efficient operation of the asphalt plantOperating the weighbridge and assisting with vehicle movements and customer collectionsAssisting with asphalt production, mixing operations and material handling dutiesCarrying out loading shovel operations and supporting general plant activities following trainingMaintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and basic plant maintenance across the siteWho you areYoure dependable, flexible and comfortable working rotating day and night shiftsYou enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining a safe and organised working environmentYou communicate effectively with drivers, contractors and colleagues onsiteYoure willing to learn new skills and support different operational areas as requiredExperience with mobile and fixed plant is good to have.We are committed to building a diverse environment and are proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
