Making a difference.We're looking for a qualified MOT Technician (Class 4 & 7) to join a busy and professional workshop team in Burton upon Trent.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tester who takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work while maintaining the highest standards of road safety and compliance.What you'll be doing:Carrying out MOT tests on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles in line with DVSA standardsIdentifying and recording defects, failures and advisories accuratelyUsing approved MOT testing equipment and MTS systemsCommunicating test results clearly with colleagues and customersCompleting authorised repairs relating to MOT failures where requiredMaintaining a clean, safe and organised testing environmentEnsuring full compliance with DVSA procedures and audit requirementsSupporting workshop technicians with MOT preparation when neededManaging work and job progress through the workshop management systemWhat we need:Valid MOT Tester Licence for Class 4 & 7 vehiclesPrevious experience in an MOT testing or workshop environmentStrong knowledge of DVSA testing procedures and regulationsExcellent attention to detail and record-keeping skillsAbility to work independently and manage your workload effectivelyFull UK driving licenceDesirable skills:NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and RepairDiagnostic and fault-finding experienceExperience working across multiple vehicle brandsHybrid and EV awareness or trainingFamiliarity with dealer management or workshop systemsWhat's in it for you:Competitive salary based on experiencePermanent position with a growing businessModern workshop environmentOngoing training and development opportunitiesSupportive and professional team cultureLong-term career progression opportunitiesIf you're a qualified MOT Tester looking for your next challenge and want to join a business that values quality, professionalism and customer service, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
