Contracts Manager Highways / Civil EngineeringYorkshire & North East | PermanentReady to take ownership of major highways and civil engineering projects with an established and growing contractor?Were working with a highly regarded infrastructure business that is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to support the successful delivery of projects across Yorkshire and the North East .This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially and operationally strong Contracts Manager who enjoys leading teams, working closely with clients and taking real ownership of project delivery .Why consider the opportunity?Competitive salary plus packageMajor highways, civil engineering and infrastructure projectsOpportunity to take ownership across the full project lifecycleStrong client-facing and leadership responsibilityJoin an established business with a growing project pipelineOpportunity to make a genuine impact within the operationLong-term career opportunity within a supportive teamThe RoleWorking closely with the Operations Manager and Project Managers, you'll provide autonomous management and engineering support across assigned schemes.You'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme and to the required quality standards , whilst developing strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and delivery teams.You will be involved in:Managing the safe delivery of assigned worksLeading and developing site and project teamsClient and stakeholder managementReviewing RAMS, CPPs and project documentationSite visits, pre-tender assessments and reportingTemporary works coordination and managementQuality management, including ITPsSupporting project teams with drawings, specifications and engineering requirementsWhat we're looking forWe're keen to speak with experienced Contracts Managers from a highways, civil engineering, drainage or National Highways background.You'll ideally have:HNC/HND in Civil EngineeringCSCS Manager CardSMSTSPrevious Contracts Management experience within highways/civilsStrong leadership and client management skillsGood understanding of engineering principles, quality and H&SConfidence using MS ProjectLocation: Yorkshire & North East, with travel across project sites locallyIf you're an experienced Contracts Manager looking for greater responsibility, interesting infrastructure projects and the opportunity to play a key role within a growing business , we'd be keen to hear from you.How to Apply:Please apply to this job advert with your CV to be considered.
