About the Role\nVeritas Education is working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a confident and motivated Unqualified Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
\nThis role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, experienced Cover Supervisors, youth workers, sports coaches, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to gain valuable classroom experience before pursuing a career in teaching.
\nThe successful candidate will deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and support students in achieving their learning objectives within a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups \n
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment \n
- Support students with their learning and engagement \n
- Manage behaviour effectively in line with school policies \n
- Monitor student participation and progress during lessons \n
- Build positive relationships with students and staff \n
- Support the wider school community where required \n
- Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures \n

- Holds a degree or relevant qualification (desirable) \n
- Has experience working with young people in education, coaching, mentoring, youth work, or similar settings \n
- Is confident leading groups and communicating effectively \n
- Has strong behaviour management and organisational skills \n
- Demonstrates resilience, adaptability, and professionalism \n
- Has a genuine passion for education and supporting young people \n
