\n\nThe Role
\nAs a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst, you will act as the technical lead for Tableau across the organisation, driving standards, governance, and platform maturity.
\nResponsibilities include:

- Leading end-to-end Tableau development across Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep, and Tableau Cloud \n
- Designing and maintaining scalable data sources, semantic layers, and reporting solutions \n
- Defining and embedding Tableau development best practices across the business \n
- Building high-quality dashboards that deliver actionable business insights \n
- Writing and optimising SQL across cloud and enterprise data environments \n
- Supporting and enabling business users with self-service analytics capabilities \n
- Owning BI governance, data quality frameworks, and reporting standards \n
- Acting as the escalation point for complex BI and reporting challenges \n
- Partnering with data engineering teams on architecture, modelling, and performance optimisation \n
- Contributing to a major cloud migration programme and helping modernise the wider analytics ecosystem \n
Your Skills & Experience

- Strong commercial experience with Tableau, including dashboard development, data source development, and Tableau Prep \n
- Experience delivering end-to-end BI solutions rather than focusing solely on front-end reporting \n
- Strong SQL skills, including complex querying, table creation, and performance optimisation \n
- Experience improving, scaling, or maturing a Tableau environment \n
- Understanding of data modelling, governance, and BI best practices \n
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders \n
- Experience working with cloud data platforms, migrations, or analytics modernisation programmes is advantageous \n
- Exposure to Tableau administration, performance tuning, and self-service analytics initiatives would be beneficial \n
