Technical Manager

Location: London or Birmingham

We are working with a leading global organisation to recruit a Technology Manager to support the delivery and ongoing development of a complex global technology infrastructure environment.

You will be serving as the day-to-day technical lead interfacing with our strategic third-party suppliers and MSPs.

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Act as the technical lead for strategic technology suppliers and managed service providers.
\n
• Ensuring external suppliers adhere strictly to company infrastructure policies and security baselines.
\n
• Delivering support and guidance for large, global infrastructure and network estates through a complex supplier lead matrix.
\n
• Review and challenge supplier-led changes through the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
\n
• Ensure suppliers meet infrastructure, security and architectural standards.
\n
• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
\n
• Provide technical guidance across global infrastructure and network environments.
\n

Experience of the following would be highly valuable:

• SD-WAN, LAN/WAN and enterprise networking
\n
• SASE, Zero Trust (ZTNA) and perimeter security
\n
• Hybrid-cloud environments including Azure, AWS and/or OCI
\n
• IaaS, PaaS and modern cloud infrastructure
\n
• Enterprise storage and infrastructure platforms
\n
• Disaster Recovery and business continuity
\n
• Backup and resilience frameworks
\n
• Infrastructure security and technical standards
\n
• IT service management and change management
\n
