Salary: £13.00 p/h increasing up to £15.00 p/h + overtime\n

\nOur client, a local manufacturing company and supplier of soft play and family entertainment centres, are looking to recruit a Field Installation Technician to join their team.\n
\nWorking across the UK, you will be working within a small team, installing, repairing, inspecting and cleaning soft play and family entertainment centres.\n
As a Field Installation Technician your duties will be: -\n
\n

\n
• Carry out planned maintenance visits at customer sites.
\n
• Fitting and repairing soft play centres and replacing damaged or worn components.
\n
• Using specialised tools to assemble the various elements of the soft play structure, including connecting climbing frames, slides, and platforms, padding and netting.
\n
• Identifying and fixing any potential problems during installation, such as misaligned pieces or gaps.
\n
• Conduct specialist cleaning activities/sanitizing equipment.
\n
• Performing thorough inspections to verify that all components are correctly installed and meet safety standards.
\n
• Maintain company tools and equipment in good working condition.
\n
• Maintain a professional, polite and friendly manner when dealing with customers.
\n

The successful Field Installation Technician will have the following skills: -\n
\n

\n
• Must have previous experience in a maintenance, construction, installation or similar type of role.
\n
• Must have experience working on customer sites.
\n
• IPAF, PASMA or similar certification would be advantageous.
\n
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools in a safe manner.
\n
• Must have a professional and customer-focused approach.
\n
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across the UK and flexible to overnight stays (paid for)
\n
• Must have a full UK driving licence (for insurance purposes you must be over 21 years old).
\n
• Able to work at height where required and appropriately trained.
\n
• Willing to have an enhanced DBS check completed (company will pay for).
\n
• Work well within a team.
\n
