Systems Developer

Role: System DeveloperLocation : Wales (remote)Role type : TemporaryDuration: 7 monthsHourly rate: £23,06 (£44,367 pro-rata)Reporting to: Business Insight Development ManagerKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain business information systems and applications.Design and support the organisation's data warehouse and reporting platform.Develop and maintain Power BI datasets, data models, dashboards, and reports.Design secure data integration, import, export, and ETL solutions.Automate and streamline business processes to improve efficiency.Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with GDPR and organisational policies.Support the development and maintenance of digital platforms and web-based services.Provide systems training, guidance, and technical support to end users.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technology solutions.Essential CriteriaQualifications & ExperienceDegree-level qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.Demonstrable experience in systems development and implementation.Strong practical experience with: SQL, Power BI, SharePoint (or equivalent platforms)Data warehousing and data integration solutionsSkills & KnowledgeStrong understanding of software development and information systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.Experience working collaboratively across teams.Understanding of data governance, security, and GDPR requirements.Think this one's for youIf you think this System Developer opportunity is for you then please apply online.Yolk Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team works with organisations across the UK to fulfil their recruitment needs and to achieve their D&I objectives.
