Pay Rate: £85.44–£100 per day

We are looking for a confident, reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming secondary school in the Bingham (NG13) area.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and can confidently manage a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. You will supervise students, deliver pre-set work and help maintain a positive and focused learning environment.

• Supervise classes across a range of subjects and year groups.
\n
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities.
\n
• Maintain positive behaviour and classroom expectations.
\n
• Support students with their learning and encourage participation.
\n
• Take accurate registers and report any concerns to teaching staff.
\n
• Ensure students remain focused and complete assigned work.
\n
• Provide appropriate support to individual students when required.
\n
• Follow school safeguarding, behaviour and health & safety procedures.
\n

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.
\n
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
\n
• Confident communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different classroom environments.
\n
• A professional, reliable and positive approach.
\n
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
\n
• Right to work in the UK.
\n
• A degree or relevant education experience is desirable but not essential.
\n
