In a NutshellWe have an exciting opportunity for a Social Value Manager to join our team within Vistry Manchester & Cheshire East, at our Warrington office. As our Social Value Manager, you will work to develop, implement, co-ordinate and report on all learning and development, recruitment, and event activities associated with the delivery of any project-based Employment & Skills Section 106 KPI's and planning initiatives. You will also need to monitor and report on the delivery of activities and achievements in line with the Employment and Skills Agenda, taking steps to rectify areas of slippage against programme, and escalating where appropriate. In addition, you will evaluate all Employment Skills Plans and support the pre-construction team with tender submissions relating to social value. The academies are on-site based training areas where you will be working directly with third party training providers and clients such as Building Heroes, The Job Centre, DWP, Prisons and local community development bodies. The academies provide both classroom based and practical learning to individuals looking to start a career in Construction. You will work to motivate and create job openings with the on-site supply chain for academy graduates, whilst working with the project team to ensure delivery of any social value commitments. A key element of the job will be to promote the Construction Industry as a career route to local communities, Schools, and Further Education providers, via events such as school assemblies, apprentice fairs, coffee mornings, and supply chain engagement events.We value in-person collaboration and team culture, but we're also committed to supporting flexible working where possible.
