We also sell, service and support Wadkin, Wadkin Bursgreen, Doucet, Bala and Stenner machinery and are the main UK and Ireland dealer for Leadermac.With a superb industry reputation, AMS is a secure, forward-thinking business offering a friendly and professional working environment.The roleWorking as part of our experienced Field Service Team, you will:Diagnose electrical and mechanical breakdowns and faultsService, repair and install specialist machineryFit replacement parts and test equipmentComplete planned preventative maintenanceRespond to emergency call-outs and unplanned repairsLiaise with the Service Department at head officeComplete all required paperwork promptlyMaintain excellent workmanship and safety standardsSupport our head-office workshop engineers when requiredThe position involves regular travel and occasional overnight stays. All associated costs are covered by AMS.About youYou will need:Proven Field Service, Mechanical or Electrical/Mechanical Engineering experienceStrong electrical and mechanical skillsCompetent electronic fault-finding abilityExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsA full UK driving licenceFlexibility to travel and occasionally stay awayExperience with industrial or woodworking machinery would be advantageous.
