An exciting opportunity has opened up for a KS1 Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in the centre of Waltham Forest from September 2026. This full-time position will run for the academic year, with the potential for the successful candidate to secure a permanent position at the end of the contract.

The Opportunity

As a KS1 Teacher, you will:

• Take responsibility for delivering engaging and purposeful lessons across KS1
\n
• Create a classroom environment where children feel confident, valued and motivated
\n
• Plan learning that challenges and supports pupils of different abilities
\n
• Track pupil progress and use assessment to inform future teaching
\n
• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
\n
• Work closely with the wider teaching team to share ideas and best practice
\n
• Contribute positively to the wider school community
\n

What We're Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
\n
• Experience teaching within KS1 is desirable
\n
• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
\n
• A creative and enthusiastic approach to teaching
\n
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
\n
• A commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for pupils
\n
• Someone keen to develop professionally and take advantage of career progression opportunities

• ECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply
