Principal Embedded EngineerTake technical ownership of an embedded engineering capability where you can shape architecture, development standards and long-term engineering practice. This is a principal-level role with genuine scope to influence how complex embedded systems are delivered.What you will need\n

- British nationality \n
- Extensive experience developing embedded systems using C or C++ \n
- Knowledge of microcontrollers, System on Chip platforms and Field Programmable Gate Arrays is a plus \n
- \n
- Provide technical leadership across embedded software and firmware development \n
- Shape engineering processes, workflows and development standards \n
- Develop architectures and guide detailed embedded system design \n
- Define verification strategies, validation approaches and test plans \n
- Lead the delivery of embedded engineering work packages from initial scope through to release \n
- Support integration across software, firmware and hardware engineering disciplines \n
- \n
- Strong embedded C and C++ development experience \n
- Practical knowledge of modern microcontrollers, System on Chip technologies and Field Programmable Gate Arrays \n
- Knowledge of hardware description languages such as VHDL and associated verification tools \n
- Experience producing technical specifications, architectures, design documentation and test procedures \n
- Understanding of safety-related engineering standards such as Safety Integrity Level or Automotive Safety Integrity Level frameworks \n
- Experience mentoring engineers, providing technical guidance and improving engineering capability \n
