This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career within the printing and packaging industry.Working alongside experienced operators, you will receive full training on industry-leading Cut & Crease machinery and processes. You will learn how to produce high-quality carton packaging while working safely, efficiently, and to customer specifications.What You'll Be Learning As a Trainee Cut & Crease Operator, you will be trained to:Assist with the set-up and operation of Cut & Crease machinery.Follow work instructions and production schedules.Perform quality checks to ensure products meet customer requirements.Support machine cleaning, maintenance, and housekeeping activities.Work in line with all Health & Safety, Quality, and Hygiene standards.Understand production KPIs and contribute to department targets.Develop knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement techniques.Support the wider production team as requiredWhat We're Looking For We are interested in your attitude, reliability and willingness and willing to learn.Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new skills.Good attention to detail.Reliable and punctual.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to follow instructions and work safely.Good work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your development.Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Basic Maths and English skills.Flexible approach to working hours when requiredDesirable Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, or engineering.Interest in machinery and mechanical processes.Basic computer skills.Understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace.Training & Development You will receive full on-the-job training, including:Safe operation of Cut & Crease machinery.Quality inspection techniques.Machine set-up and troubleshooting.Production processes and performance standards.Health & Safety, Quality, and Hygiene procedures.Continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles.Qualifications Essential Good standard of general education.Functional skills in English and Maths.Desirable GCSEs in Maths, English, Engineering, or related subjects.Why Join Us?
