Day-to-Day\n
    \n
  • Producing detailed mechanical designs and calculations for building services projects.
  • \n
  • Liaising with clients and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
  • \n
  • Reviewing and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • \n
  • Attending project meetings and providing technical input to ensure successful project delivery.
  • \n
  • Supporting senior engineers and mentoring junior team members as required.
  • \n
Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Develop mechanical building services designs and calculations for a variety of projects.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated engineering solutions.
  • \n
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, and design documentation.
  • \n
  • Conduct site inspections and attend project meetings to ensure designs are implemented effectively.
  • \n
  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client requirements.
  • \n
  • Contribute to the delivery of sustainable and commercially viable engineering solutions.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in mechanical building services design.
  • \n
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Hevacomp and/or TAS is advantageous.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of Building Regulations, CIBSE guidance, and relevant industry standards.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • \n
  • The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • \n
