Despatch Packing Assistant\n
Location: Verwood Industry: Precision Engineering (Aerospace) Hours: Full-time, Permanent (39 hrs per week) Salary: £13.00 ph
About the Role\nA dependable, detail-focused Despatch Packing Assistant is required to support a busy despatch operation within a precision aerospace engineering environment. This hands-on role involves packing components, organising shipments, and carrying out part marking for aerospace traceability, where accuracy is absolutely essential.
\nFull training is provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with the right attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Pack and prepare components for safe, accurate shipment \n
- Support and arrange shipping to meet delivery deadlines \n
- Carry out part marking using ink, vibro, and dot peen methods \n
- Ensure all marking is completed accurately and to specification \n
- Record, organise, and maintain stock within the department \n
- Monitor consumable stock levels \n
- Maintain a clean, safe, organised working area \n
- Support other departments when required \n

- Careful handling of components to avoid damage or errors \n
