Location: Verwood Industry: Precision Engineering (Aerospace) Hours: Full-time, Permanent (39 hrs per week) Salary: £13.00 ph

A dependable, detail-focused Despatch Packing Assistant is required to support a busy despatch operation within a precision aerospace engineering environment. This hands-on role involves packing components, organising shipments, and carrying out part marking for aerospace traceability, where accuracy is absolutely essential.

Full training is provided, making this a great opportunity for someone with the right attitude, strong attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Pack and prepare components for safe, accurate shipment
  • \n
  • Support and arrange shipping to meet delivery deadlines
  • \n
  • Carry out part marking using ink, vibro, and dot peen methods
  • \n
  • Ensure all marking is completed accurately and to specification
  • \n
  • Record, organise, and maintain stock within the department
  • \n
  • Monitor consumable stock levels
  • \n
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organised working area
  • \n
  • Support other departments when required
  • \n
