We are seeking a dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant primary school team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting children's educational and developmental needs in Key Stage 2. The successful candidate will work closely with classroom teachers to enhance the learning environment for our students.
\nDay-to-day of the role:

- Assist in preparing and setting up resources for lessons and activities, ensuring a conducive learning environment. \n
- Support individual students and small groups to help them understand the material and complete tasks. \n
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required. \n
- Help manage classroom behaviour, ensuring a focused and friendly atmosphere. \n
- Participate in school meetings and training sessions. \n
- Facilitate communication between students and staff. \n
- Adhere to school policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all students. \n
Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within KS2. \n
- Strong understanding of the educational needs and challenges faced by KS2 students. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team. \n
- A proactive and compassionate approach to student learning and welfare. \n
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent. \n
