\nAbout the Opportunity
\nOur client is a well-established manufacturer operating within a complex industrial environment. They are looking to appoint an experienced Project Supervisor to support the successful delivery of engineering and maintenance projects across site.
\nThis role offers an excellent opportunity for an engineering professional with project delivery or maintenance supervisory experience who is looking to play a key role in improving operational performance while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.
\nThe Role
\nReporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Project Supervisor will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of engineering projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
\nKey responsibilities include:

- Leading the day-to-day planning, coordination, and supervision of engineering projects. \n
- Developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and providing updates to key stakeholders. \n
- Reviewing contractor RAMS and ensuring compliance with site requirements. \n
- Identifying project risks and challenges, implementing practical solutions and escalating issues when necessary. \n
- Managing Permit to Work systems, including Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures. \n
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and statutory requirements. \n
- Maintaining accurate project documentation, records, and performance data. \n
- Collaborating with operations and maintenance teams to prioritise and deliver site improvement projects. \n
- Supporting contractor management and ensuring work is completed safely and to agreed standards. \n
- Promoting a positive safety culture and leading by example across all project activities. \n
Skills & Experience
\nTo be successful in this role, you should have:
\n- \n
- HNC in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent qualification. \n
- Time-served apprenticeship considered. \n
- 3-5 years' experience in project management, project supervision, or maintenance leadership within a manufacturing, process, utilities, FMCG, or similar industrial environment. \n
- Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background with a broad understanding of industrial plant operations. \n
- Knowledge of Permit to Work systems, RAMS, Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, and health & safety legislation. \n
- Experience using CMMS and project management software. \n
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills. \n
- Excellent problem-solving ability and a proactive, hands-on approach. \n
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. \n
