Planning Engineer

Are you an experienced Planning Engineer? Do you have a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, machining, fabrication or assembly? • Supporting the New Product Introduction (NPI) of Airbus machining and assembly packages, ensuring Lean manufacturing techniques are utilised where possible.
\n
• Planning methods of manufacture and creating detailed route cards and work instructions for new machined, fabricated and assembled detail parts.
\n
• Planning lower-level details through to the manufacture and assembly of large top-level parts, with a strong understanding of customer schedules and BOMs.
\n
• Supporting all departments with engineering planning and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.
\n
• Creating rework schemes and detailed planning for non-conforming products.
\n

Planning EngineerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications\n

\n
• Experience working with Airbus specifications and processors.
\n
• Knowledge of machining, forming and assembly processes to enable detailed manufacturing routings to be created.
\n
• Proven experience of planning and creating route cards or job cards.
\n
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
\n
