Job Description
Location: Office-Based - MerseysideHours: 40 hours per week, Monday to FridaySalary: Up to £28,000 per annum – depending on experience
\nWe are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Streetworks Administrator to join a busy and growing utilities team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to develop their career within the utilities and streetworks sector.
\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in supporting streetworks activities, ensuring permits, notices and records are managed accurately and in line with industry regulations and local authority requirements.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate records of streetworks activities and update internal systems. \n
- Run and update daily operational reports. \n
- Manage incoming telephone calls and queries. \n
- Register, start and close streetworks permits. \n
- Ensure permit information is recorded accurately and within required timescales. \n
- Provide administrative support to the Streetworks and Operations teams. \n
- Assist other departments when required, including providing cover during periods of sickness or annual leave. \n
- Support the efficient delivery of utility works through effective permit and documentation management. \n
Skills & Experience
\nEssential
\n- \n
- Previous administration experience. \n
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook. \n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills. \n
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail. \n
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively. \n
- Strong communication and customer service skills. \n
Desirable

- Knowledge or experience within the utilities industry. \n
- Understanding of streetworks or permit administration processes. \n
