\n\nAbout the role:
\nWe are seeking a number of dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor/ unqualified teachers to work in secondary schools across Wigan This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a positive impact on students’ education while gaining valuable experience in a school environment.
\nAs a cover supervisor you will be responsible for supervising classes when teachers are absent, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive classroom environment. This role is deal for graduates, carer changers or those considering a future in teaching.
\nKey responsibilities:

- Supervise classes across all key stages (KS3 and 4) in the absence of subject teachers \n
- Deliver pre-planned lesson materials and ensure students remain on task \n
- Promote positive behaviour \n
- Support students with their learning \n
- Take accurate registers and report concerns to relevant staff \n
- Assist with general school duties as required \n
- Adhere to school policies and procedures \n
Essential requirements:

- Degree or equivalent qualification \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n
- Ability to engage students aged 11-16 \n
- Confident classroom presence \n
- Flexible and adaptable \n
- Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude \n
- Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one \n
