Desktop Support Engineer - Spanish Speaking

Advancing People Multilingual Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for a Spanish speaking Desktop Support Engineer on behalf of a leading Spanish based IT Consultancy.

This role is on-site working for a client in Grimsby, Lincolnshire

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced IT support professional to join a corporate environment, providing hands-on technical support to users and working closely with Service Desk and specialist IT teams.

Roles & Responsibilities:

\n
• Provide on-site IT support, resolving incidents, service requests and user queries.
\n
• Act as the first point of contact for users requiring hands-on technical assistance.
\n
• Install, configure, replace and maintain computers, peripherals and workplace equipment.
\n
• Provide support for laptops, desktops, docking stations, printers and other IT equipment.
\n
• Support meeting rooms, video conferencing systems, audiovisual equipment and collaboration technology.
\n
• Record and maintain accurate information on incidents and requests using the company's ITSM system.
\n
• Carry out regular checks of meeting rooms and audiovisual equipment.
\n

Person Specification:

\n
• Fluent in Spanish
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service focus.
\n
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
\n
• Experience diagnosing, prioritising and resolving IT incidents, with a focus on first-time resolution.
\n
• Solid knowledge and experience with: Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook and SharePoint.
\n
• Comfortable with Windows/user operating systems.
\n
• Laptops, desktops, peripherals, printers and docking stations
\n
• Wi-Fi, VPN and remote access.
\n
• Experienced with ITSM and/or ticketing systems.
\n

This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of £40,000 - £45,000 + excellent company benefits.
