TIG WELDERS - HINKLEY POINTAn excellent opportunity for skilled TIG Welders to join a specialist engineering contractor on Hinkley Point.Our client provides mechanical engineering, fabrication and installation services across highly regulated sectors throughout the UK. Due to continued project demand, they are looking to add experienced TIG Welders with strong 6G TIG and MMA experience to support ongoing works at Hinkley Point.This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Welders looking to secure long-term work on one of the UK's largest engineering and infrastructure projects.Hinkley PointHourly Rates:Basic: £28.29 - £30.58Overtime A: £39.61 - £42.82Overtime B: £50.93 - £55.05*Overtime A: Monday – Thursday (after 8 hours of Basic Pay) / Friday (after 6 hours)*Overtime B: Saturday (after 4 hours of Basic Pay) / All hours on SundaysAllowances:\n

- Travel and lodge allowances in line with the applicable industry agreement. \n

- Carry out TIG welding in the 6G position. \n
- Complete MMA welding activities where required. \n
- Work in accordance with approved WPS and project specifications. \n
- Produce welds to the required quality and acceptance standards. \n
- Carry out preparation and inspection of work prior to welding. \n
- Work effectively as part of a site-based mechanical installation team. \n
- Adhere to strict site health, safety and quality procedures. \n
- Complete welding activities within agreed project timescales. \n
- \n
- NVQ Level 3 in Welding/Fabrication or recognised equivalent. \n
- Valid CCNSG, CSCS or recognised equivalent safety passport. \n
- Proven 6G TIG welding experience. \n
- Strong MMA welding experience. \n
- Experience working within heavy engineering, industrial construction or other highly regulated environments. \n
- Ability to work accurately to WPS and technical specifications. \n
- Previous experience on major industrial or nuclear projects would be advantageous. \n

- Minimum 100 hours worked over a 10-day rotation. \n
- Additional overtime available, with the opportunity to work in excess of 108 hours over the same period. \n
