Regional Construction Team Leader / Lead InstallerLocation : Covering the Bedford, Northampton and Cambridge RegionSalary: £18 per hour + Company Van + Paid Travel + Overnight AllowanceContract: Full time, PermanentBenefits: Company van, Company phone, Paid travel, Accommodation arranged and paid for when working away, 25 days annual leave, £25 overnight allowance, Specialist training and career development and the Opportunity to work with innovative construction technologyAeroseal UK works with leading housebuilders, developers and construction clients to improve airtightness in new-build and residential projects.Using the innovative AeroBarrier system, we help buildings achieve demanding airtightness targets by identifying and sealing leakage paths within the building fabric.Our work sits at the intersection of construction, specialist installation and building performance, offering a unique and rewarding career path.We are seeking a Regional Team Leader / Lead Installer to join our growing team and support projects across Bedford, Northampton, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, London and surrounding areas.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional who enjoys practical, hands-on site work and wants to develop specialist skills within the growing field of building airtightness and performance.About the Regional Construction Team Leader RoleThis is a site-based position where you'll take responsibility for delivering specialist airtightness installations across a variety of construction projects.You'll lead projects from arrival on site through to completion, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. While most projects are based within the region, you must be willing to stay away when required, typically up to three nights per week.This role would particularly suit someone with strong construction experience, especially an air tester looking to move into a more practical and hands-on building performance role.As our Regional Construction Team Leader you will:Lead and deliver AeroBarrier installations on allocated projectsTake ownership of projects from setup through to completionManage site workflow, productivity, safety and quality standardsSet up, operate and maintain specialist installation equipmentPrepare buildings for installation, including manual sealing and site preparationComplete de-prep, pack-down and site clean-up activitiesCommunicate effectively with site managers, clients and internal teamsProduce clear site reports, including photos, testing results and observationsCare for company vehicles, tools, materials and equipmentCarry out routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirementsSupport and supervise additional installers or labour where requiredWhat We're Looking ForEssentialConstruction or building site experienceFull UK driving licenceCSCS Green CardComfortable working away from home up to 3 nights per week when requiredStrong practical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsAbility to work independently and take responsibility on siteHigh standards of workmanship, housekeeping and professionalismDesirableAirtightness testing experienceExperience using air testing or diagnostic equipmentPrevious supervisory or team-leading experienceKnowledge of building envelopes, airtightness layers or ventilation systemsBackground in carpentry, drylining, retrofit, testing or specialist installation workSuccessful candidates will complete a structured 4-week training programme designed to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work independently and eventually lead a two-person installation team.The programme includes:Hands-on training alongside experienced team leadersSpecialist equipment setup and operationAirtightness and building performance principlesInstallation techniques across different project typesCompetency sign-offs at the end of each training stageSupporting documentation and guidance materialsTraining may involve overnight stays and working with different teams to ensure broad project exposure and experience.If you're an experienced construction professional looking for a hands-on leadership role with specialist training and genuine career progression, we'd love to hear from you.Click on APPLY today!TPBN1_UKTJ
