Interim School HR ManagerStart: 1st September / ASAPDuration: Initially 12 weeks.Working pattern : Full-time, 36 hours per weekLocation: SurreyWorking arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days on-site / 2 days working from homeRate: Day RateWe are delighted to have partnered with an education provider to recruit for an Interim HR Manager. As their Interim HRM, you will take responsibility for leading the HR Business Services Team and ensuring there is strong and consistent HR support.They require someone to operate both strategically and hands-on, coming in and quickly taking ownership of the HR function.Key areas of responsibility will include:Leading, supporting and developing the HR team, including 3 HR Officers and an HR Coordinator with an L&D focusProviding expert HR advice and guidance to senior leaders and managersManaging complex employee relations matters, including attendance, conduct, capability and performanceReviewing and developing HR policies, procedures and processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practiceSupporting organisational change and wider people-related projectsUsing HR data and insight to support decision-makingEnsuring robust end-to-end people processes are embedded across the TrustBuilding strong relationships across the schools and central team and developing a collaborative, customer-focused HR serviceExperience Required:For this interim appointment, a CIPD Level 5 is essential and education experience is strongly desired.
