Class 1 Driver

We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.Shifts: Monday to FridayHours : Typically around 09:00am startsPay Rate: £16.36 per hour PAYELocation: Durham, DH1 1TF (please note that the site will be relocating to DL1 3NL)Job Type : Temp to PermThe role:Mainly collections with some deliveries. Up to 10 stops per day. Minimal loading and unloading requiredCollaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely Collections / deliveries.. Minimal loading / unloadingConduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.Requirements:Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).Have at least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Full understanding of WTD legislation.Excellent communication skills.A safety-first mindset.For more information, please apply directly with a copy of your CV today and a member of our team will be in touch!TPBN1_UKTJ
