Operations Lead - Nottingham - Earn £15.30/h - Apply Now!At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a Operations Lead to work with an important company in Nottingham, a leading smart mobility provider offering cities a range of mobility products including e-assist bicycles and electric scooters.Shift Patterns:* Any 5 days out of 7, including weekends and evenings as requiredPay Rates:* £15.30 per hourAs a Operations Lead you will need to have:1. Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar operational environment.2. Previous leadership or team-training experience preferred.3. Strong problem-solving skills with a mechanically minded approach.4. Ability to lift up to 65 lbs / 30kg on a frequent basis.5. Ability to use mobile applications and learn new tools and systems.6. Strong organisational and time-management skills.7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.8. Strong understanding of operational KPIs and performance.9. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.10. Safety-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.11. Experience using a pallet jack or push cart.12. Ability to work evenings and weekends when required.13. Ability to analyse data and use KPIs to improve operational performance.14. Ability to work effectively with external suppliers and logistics partners.15. Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced operational environment.Role of a Operations Lead:1. Lead, train and support a team of Mechanics and Drivers.2. Allocate daily tasks and ensure team workflow is efficient.3. Monitor team performance and operational KPIs.4. Complete vehicle safety and quality checks before deployment.5. Manage battery inspection, rotation and check-in/out processes.6. Maintain warehouse compliance and inventory accuracy.7. Complete basic vehicle repairs and maintenance.8. Assist with tyre changes, inflation and assembly.9. Complete mechanical and electronic repairs in the warehouse.10. Maintain accurate records of vehicle and parts checks.11. Coordinate with third-party logistics providers.12. Monitor vehicle deployment and identify operational bottlenecks.13. Provide daily updates on warehouse performance and repair backlogs.14. Respond professionally to public complaints and local issues.15. Monitor and report incidents such as vehicle vandalism.16. Maintain high standards of warehouse safety and cleanliness.17.
