HGV Class 1 Driver – Trailer workPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Swindon .This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for adhoc or weekend work.This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver , CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver .Shifts   •  ADHOC and weekends available   •  AM starts between 04:00 – 08:00Pay rate: £16.66 per hourBenefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will receive:•  Excellent hourly rates   •  Ongoing work   •  Weekly pay   •  Training provided   •  Immediate starts availableDay-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to):•  Use of RELAY app   •  Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections   •  Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly   •  Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations   •  Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers   •  Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements   •  Assisting with loading and unloading when requiredEssential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver , you will need:•  Valid UK Category C+E Driving Licence   •  Minimum of 12 months' experience driving C+E vehicles   •  No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes)   •  Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card   •  Good spoken and written English   •  Excellent punctuality and timekeeping   •  Strong understanding of UK road traffic laws   •  Effective communication skillsDesirable Experience   •  Previous experience driving commercial vehiclesTraining Provided   •  Driver assessment required prior to starting   •  One-day paid induction following a successful assessment   •  Ongoing industry-related training and supportApply If you are interested in this opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver , please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.TPBN1_UKTJ
