Combining traditional pub hospitality and charm with one of the most sought-after dining locations in Devon, they offer a welcoming environment focused on quality food and service.The RoleYou will be responsible for supervising the Front of House operation, ensuring the smooth running of the floor while supporting the management team with day-to-day operational duties.Key ResponsibilitiesGreeting and seating customers and ensuring a welcoming experienceDelegating responsibilities and running the floor in the Assistant Manager's absenceSupporting and supervising the Front of House team to maintain high standards of serviceCashing up at the end of the day, locking up and placing orders with suppliersSupporting management with customer complaints and liaising with the kitchen to resolve any issuesEnsuring allergen awareness and Health & Safety procedures are followedMaintaining a clean, organised and well-presented Front of House areaManaging your time effectively and remaining calm under pressureWorking flexibly, including weekends and bank holidaysRequirementsEssentialPrevious experience working in a Front of House or hospitality environmentAbility to lead a team and work on your own initiativeExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong time management and organisational skillsAbility to work under pressure in a busy customer-facing environmentUnderstanding of Health & Safety and allergen awareness proceduresFlexibility to work a variety of hours, including weekends and bank holidaysLive within a commutable distanceDesirablePrevious experience working in a busy hospitality establishmentPrevious experience managing or supervising a hospitality teamWhat's In It For You28 days' holidayAll year-round workPension schemeMeals on dutyTipsPerformance bonusWhat's next?
