Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes (On-site)?? 6 Month Contract?? £468.98 per day PAYE | £620.36 per day UmbrellaInside IR35We're currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Citrix) to join a highly secure Government programme supporting critical enterprise infrastructure.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Citrix specialist to work within a skilled engineering team, supporting complex virtual desktop environments and delivering both BAU support and infrastructure improvement projects.The RoleAs the Senior Citrix Infrastructure Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the stability, security and performance of enterprise Citrix platforms operating within a highly regulated environment.Responsibilities will include:Supporting and maintaining enterprise Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops environmentsDesigning, building, upgrading and optimising Citrix infrastructurePerformance tuning and troubleshooting within high-availability environmentsSupporting BAU operations alongside infrastructure project deliveryIntegrating Citrix with Active Directory and secure access solutionsDriving automation and continuous improvement across the environmentProducing technical documentation and supporting knowledge transferWorking closely with infrastructure and platform engineering teams to enhance service resilienceRequired ExperienceWe're looking for engineers with strong commercial experience in:Citrix Virtual Apps & DesktopsEnterprise Citrix administration, deployment and supportInfrastructure design, upgrades and migrationsPerformance optimisation and complex troubleshootingActive Directory integrationSecure access technologiesHigh-availability infrastructureInfrastructure automationWorking within ITIL or service-managed environmentsExperience working within secure or Government environments would be highly advantageous.Certifications (Desirable)Citrix Certified Associate Virtualization (CCA-V)Citrix Certified Professional Virtualization (CCP-V)Citrix Certified Expert Virtualization (CCE-V)Security RequirementsDue to the nature of this programme, applicants must be eligible to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance.To be eligible, candidates must:Be a sole British national and not hold dual nationalityHave lived in the UK for at least 2 of the last 5 yearsBe willing to undergo UK Government security vetting if not already DV clearedApplyIf you're an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong Citrix expertise and are looking for your next contract within a secure, technically challenging environment, we'd like to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
