Job Description

Kharis Solutions Limited is looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals living in their own homes across Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.

As a Care Assistant, you will support clients to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life by assisting with personal care, medication support, meal preparation, companionship, household tasks and other daily living activities. You will build positive relationships with clients and their families while delivering care that is tailored to each individual's needs and preferences.

\n

This is a rewarding opportunity for caring individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives. Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

\n

Deliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care in clients' homes.

\n

Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.

\n

Support clients with medication in line with company policies.

\n

Prepare meals and encourage good nutrition and hydration.

\n

Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing.

\n

Assist with light household duties, shopping and community access where required.

\n

Observe and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing.

\n

Maintain accurate electronic care records and complete all required documentation.

\n

Work in accordance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, company policies and safeguarding procedures.

\n

Promote clients' dignity, independence, choice and privacy at all times.

\n

Skills needed

\n

Passionate about making a difference in people's lives. Applicants must: Have the legal right to work in the UK. Be able to provide satisfactory references. Be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check. Have a good standard of spoken and written English. Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle (preferred for community care roles).
