Care Assistant / Support Worker
Job Description
Kharis Solutions Limited is looking for compassionate and reliable Care Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals living in their own homes across Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
\nAs a Care Assistant, you will support clients to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life by assisting with personal care, medication support, meal preparation, companionship, household tasks and other daily living activities. You will build positive relationships with clients and their families while delivering care that is tailored to each individual's needs and preferences.
\nThis is a rewarding opportunity for caring individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives. Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential, as full training and ongoing support will be provided.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nDeliver safe, compassionate and person-centred care in clients' homes.
\nAssist with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
\nSupport clients with medication in line with company policies.
\nPrepare meals and encourage good nutrition and hydration.
\nProvide companionship and emotional support to reduce loneliness and promote wellbeing.
\nAssist with light household duties, shopping and community access where required.
\nObserve and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing.
\nMaintain accurate electronic care records and complete all required documentation.
\nWork in accordance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards, company policies and safeguarding procedures.
\nPromote clients' dignity, independence, choice and privacy at all times.
\nSkills needed

Passionate about making a difference in people's lives. Applicants must: Have the legal right to work in the UK. Be able to provide satisfactory references. Be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check. Have a good standard of spoken and written English. Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle (preferred for community care roles).
