Revenue Controller 12 month FTC

I am currently assisting one of my established Law Firm clients with the search for a Revenue Controller on a 12 month fixed term basis.

Key responsibilities:

\n
• Manage the end-to-end billing process for designated business areas.
\n
• Produce and process draft bills in line with stakeholder requirements.
\n
• Review and validate disbursements and chargeable costs prior to billing.
\n
• Monitor work-in-progress balances and work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely billing.
\n
• Ensure electronic bills are submitted accurately and within client requirements.
\n
• Respond to requests for financial information, including work-in-progress and cost updates.
\n
• Liaise with colleagues across finance functions to support collections and resolve billing-related issues.
\n
• Maintain accurate financial records and support ongoing revenue management activities.
\n

Key requirements:

\n
• Previous experience in revenue control, legal billing, or professional services finance.
\n
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end billing lifecycle.
\n
• Experience using electronic billing platforms.
\n
• Knowledge of finance and practice management systems.
\n
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
\n
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
\n
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
\n
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
\n
