Management Accountant

Your new company Your new company is a leader in their field based in Crewe and are looking for a fully qualified ACCA/ CIMA Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.Your new role

• Produce monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines.
\n
• Prepare and analyse profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
\n
• Lead month-end processes including accruals, prepayments, journals, and reconciliations.
\n
• Deliver detailed variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
\n
• Partner with operational and production teams to monitor performance and drive efficiencies.
\n
• Analyse manufacturing costs, stock movements, labour utilisation, and overhead absorption.
\n
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
\n
• Maintain and improve financial controls, processes, and reporting systems.
\n
• Assist with year-end audit requirements and statutory reporting.
\n
• Provide commercial insight and recommendations to support decision making across the business.
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects and finance transformation initiatives.
\n

What you'll need to succeed

\n
• CIMA/ ACCA qualified
\n
• Previous experience in a similar role
\n
• Good working use of Excel/ general systems usage
\n
• Pro-solving abilities
\n
• Proactive, organised with excellent communication skills
\n
• Manufacturing experience desirable
\n
