Corporate Team Leader

A highly respected insurance broker in North Leeds is seeking an experienced Commercial/Corporate Account Handler Team Leader to join its growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a team of four Account Handlers while managing a portfolio of larger, corporate-led commercial insurance clients. You'll join a business that values its people, offers genuine career progression, and provides the flexibility of hybrid working.The Role As Commercial Account Handler Team Leader, you will:

• Lead, coach and develop a team of four Commercial Account Handlers.
\n
• Manage a portfolio of corporate commercial clients with premium incomes of up to £300,000.
\n
• Act as a technical referral point, providing guidance and support to the team.
\n
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurer partners.
\n
• Ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional customer service and achieves service standards.
\n
• Work closely with Account Executives and senior management to support client retention, growth and business development.
\n
• Drive operational excellence through effective workload management, coaching and continuous improvement.
\n

About You To be successful in this role, you'll have:

\n
• Proven experience handling commercial insurance within an insurance brokerage.
\n
• Previous leadership, supervisory or mentoring experience, or the ambition and capability to step into a team leadership role.
\n
• Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial insurance products.
\n
• Excellent communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
\n
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding client service.
\n
