An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor, Litigation Lawyer or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) to join a well-established law firm in Devon.

You’ll inherit a quality caseload and loyal client base from day one, giving you the opportunity to focus on delivering excellent legal advice, managing complex disputes and progressing your legal career.

The Role

You’ll manage a varied civil litigation caseload, advising individuals and businesses across a broad range of contentious matters, including:

\n
• Professional Negligence
\n
• Property and Boundary Disputes
\n
• Contentious Probate
\n
• Landlord and Tenant Disputes
\n
• Debt Recovery
\n
• Personal Injury, including RTA, EL and PL claims
\n
• General Civil Litigation
\n
• Dispute Resolution
\n

You’ll manage cases from initial instruction through to settlement, mediation or trial, working as part of a supportive team while enjoying genuine autonomy over your caseload.

About You

We’re looking for an experienced Civil Litigation Solicitor, Litigation Lawyer or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) who is looking for a long-term career opportunity in Plymouth or Devon.

You’ll ideally have:

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx) status
\n
• 5+ years’ PQE in Civil Litigation, Litigation or Dispute Resolution
\n
• Strong experience managing your own civil litigation caseload
\n
• Excellent client care and communication skills
\n
• The ability to manage matters independently from instruction through to conclusion
\n
• A commercial and practical approach to dispute resolution
\n
• Ambition to progress into a senior or leadership position
\n
