Our client is a well-established engineering and electronics organisation specialising in the supply and distribution of electronic components and value-added technical solutions. Supporting a range of strategic markets, they have built a strong reputation for technical expertise, customer service, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.They are seeking a Quality & Compliance Manager to join their team, based in Newbury. This is a key role responsible for owning the Group's Quality and Environmental Management Systems, with a particular focus on ISO 14001, while leading compliance activities and supporting the business as it expands into new and regulated markets.What you will be doing as a Quality & Compliance Manager, in Newbury:Own and maintain the Environmental Management System, ensuring continued ISO 14001 certificationMaintain the Quality Management Systems in line with ISO 9001 and AS9120Lead the implementation of additional certifications to support entry into markets such as Defence and MedicalConduct and oversee internal audits, identifying non-conformities and driving corrective actions through to completionDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the businessSupport customer complaints, returns and 8D investigationsConduct supplier and subcontractor audits where requiredMonitor changes to environmental legislation, ISO standards and regulatory requirements through effective horizon scanningReview QMS and EMS documentation to ensure it remains compliant, effective and fit for purposeProduce compliance briefings and provide training on QMS, EMS and continuous improvementProduce KPI reports, identifying trends, issues and opportunities for improvementThe skills needed:Strong experience maintaining an ISO 14001 Environmental Management SystemExperience maintaining a QMS to ISO 9001 and/or AS9120Experience with internal auditing, corrective actions and continuous improvementAbility to research and monitor changes to environmental legislation, ISO standards and regulatory requirementsStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work autonomously and take ownership of quality and compliance activitiesStrong computer skills, particularly Microsoft ExcelUnderstanding of electronics and batteries would be advantageous but is not essentialAPPLY NOW for the Quality & Compliance Manager role, in Newbury, by emailing your CV to or call James Thompson on 01582 878831.TPBN1_UKTJ
