Salary:£16.88 per hour\n
Contract:Fixed Term Contract minimum 5 Months\n

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Northumbrian Water for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tipper Driver based at Tees Dock Road, Middlesbrough.\n

\nThe Role\n
\nAs an HGV C+E Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting sludge products from Northumbrian Water's sewage treatment works across the North East to treatment facilities.\n

- Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently \n
- Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and O-Licence requirements \n
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting in line with DVSA standards \n
- Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant vehicle at all times \n
- Safely loading and unloading tanker equipment in accordance with Northumbrian Water Health & Safety procedures \n
- Promoting and supporting the \"Everyone Home Safe Everyday\" culture \n
- Driving in a fuel-efficient and environmentally responsible manner \n
- Delivering excellent service whilst representing Northumbrian Water professionally

- Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence \n
- Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience \n
- Valid Driver CPC qualification \n
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card \n
- Good understanding of EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive \n
- Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance \n
