Location:Tees Dock Road, Middlesbrough\n
Salary:£16.88 per hour\n
Contract:Fixed Term Contract minimum 5 Months\n
Hours:Up to40hours per week, Days and Nights\n
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of Northumbrian Water for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Tipper Driver based at Tees Dock Road, Middlesbrough.\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join one of the region's leading utility companies, playing a key role in supporting wastewater operations across the North East.\n
\nThe Role\n
\nAs an HGV C+E Tanker Driver, you will be responsible for transporting sludge products from Northumbrian Water's sewage treatment works across the North East to treatment facilities.\n
\nKey responsibilities include:\n
\n
    \n
  • Operating HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
  • \n
  • Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours Regulations, Working Time Directive and O-Licence requirements
  • \n
  • Carrying out daily vehicle inspections and defect reporting in line with DVSA standards
  • \n
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant vehicle at all times
  • \n
  • Safely loading and unloading tanker equipment in accordance with Northumbrian Water Health & Safety procedures
  • \n
  • Promoting and supporting the \"Everyone Home Safe Everyday\" culture
  • \n
  • Driving in a fuel-efficient and environmentally responsible manner
  • \n
  • Delivering excellent service whilst representing Northumbrian Water professionally
  • \n
What We're Looking For:\n
\n
    \n
  • Full HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
  • \n
  • Minimum 12 months' Class 1 driving experience
  • \n
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification
  • \n
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • \n
  • Good understanding of EU Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive
  • \n
  • Strong commitment to health, safety and compliance
  • \n
