We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers to join a busy and well-established drinks distribution operation based in Wetherby.

The role involves delivering alcohol and other drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries across the surrounding area.

  Delivering alcohol and drinks products to local bars, pubs, restaurants and eateries

• \n

  Working as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team

\n
• \n

  Deliveries are completed using a handball method, so the role involves regular manual handling

\n
• \n

  Typically 89 hour shifts

\n
• \n

  Job & Finish once your deliveries are completed, your working day is finished

\n
• \n

  Working closely with your Driver's Mate to ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently

\n
• \n

  Providing a professional and friendly service to customers

\n
• \n

  Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and safe

\n

?? Training & Induction

All successful drivers will complete:

\n
• \n

  Classroom-based induction

\n
• \n

  Driving assessment

\n
• \n

  Full familiarisation with the delivery process and requirements

\n
• \n

  Support from experienced team members before going out on deliveries independently

\n

? Requirements

\n
• \n

  Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence

\n
• \n

  Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph

\n
• \n

  Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred

\n
• \n

  Comfortable with handball and manual handling

\n
• \n

  Good customer service skills

\n
• \n

  Reliable, punctual and professional

\n
• \n

  Able to work effectively as part of a Driver + Driver's Mate team

\n
• \n

  Good knowledge of UK roads

\n
