Job Description

Architectural Technologist Location: London Salary: £45-50,000 An excellent opportunity has become available for an Architectural Technologist to join a respected multidisciplinary practice in London. As part of a supportive and collaborative team, you'll work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning education, commercial, residential, transport, energy and defence. This position provides the opportunity to strengthen your technical knowledge and play an active role in taking projects from early design stages through to construction and completion. The Role Develop and produce coordinated technical information across RIBA Stages 2-4. Prepare detailed architectural drawings, specifications and schedules. Work closely with Architects, Engineers, consultants and wider project teams. Ensure designs and technical information meet relevant UK Building Regulations. Contribute to BIM processes and Revit model coordination. Liaise with contractors, manufacturers and specialist suppliers. Assist with material specifications, technical detailing and product selection. Support the successful delivery of projects within agreed timescales and budgets. Provide guidance and support to less experienced members of the team when required. About You CIAT Chartered or actively working towards chartership, or ARB registered with a strong technical background. Previous experience delivering architectural projects within the UK. Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and technical detailing. Confident using Revit and working within BIM Level 2 environments. Knowledge of Navisworks and NBS would be beneficial. Comfortable coordinating technical information between multiple disciplines. Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills. Detail-oriented, proactive and capable of working effectively to project deadlines. Benefits Competitive employer pension contribution.
