Job Title: Maths Teacher Location: Peterborough Job Type: Daily Supply, Long Term (5 days a week) Pay Rate: £140 - £200 per day Job Overview: Looking for a rewarding role in education? Supply Staff Ltd is seeking a qualified Maths Teacher for a full-time, long-term position or daily supply at a secondary school in Peterborough. As a Maths Teacher, you'll inspire students to develop problem-solving and numeracy skills. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess student progress, and collaborate with colleagues. The ideal Maths Teacher will hold a PGCE and QTS or QTLS, and early career teachers are welcome to apply. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver engaging Maths Teacher lessons. * Support student understanding of mathematical concepts. * Assess and monitor student progress in maths. * Collaborate with other Maths Teachers and staff. * Support school academic goals and exam preparation. Requirements: * QTS or QTLS certification. * PGCE or equivalent qualification. * Passion for teaching maths. * Strong communication and classroom management skills. * Early career teachers are welcome to apply. * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply. * Full compliance with standard UK school safeguarding regulations.
