\nThe Opportunity\n

We are looking for an experienced Senior User Researcher to join a growing digital transformation team delivering impactful public sector programmes.
\nThis role offers the opportunity to work within multidisciplinary teams, helping shape services through evidence-led research and user-centred design. You'll collaborate with service designers, product managers, business analysts, delivery managers and technical specialists to ensure services are designed around real user needs.
\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n
\n
- \n
- Leading user research across Discovery, Alpha, Beta and Live phases. \n
- Planning and conducting interviews, usability testing, workshops and contextual research. \n
- Synthesising research findings into actionable insights and recommendations. \n
- Supporting product, service and delivery decisions through evidence-based research. \n
- Working closely with multidisciplinary Agile teams. \n
\nEssential Experience\n
\n
- \n
- Significant experience delivering User Research within digital transformation or service improvement programmes. \n
- Strong Public Sector or Government experience is essential. \n
- Excellent understanding of GDS principles, Service Standards and User-Centred Design. \n
- Experience delivering a range of qualitative research methods. \n
- Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills. \n
- Experience working within multidisciplinary Agile teams. \n
- Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design. \n
